With no dental background, I was extremely nervous, however I soon settled in to my new role with the help and support I received from both my colleagues and manager. I was soon offered the opportunity of a full time position. After a few years of hard work and dedication, taking full advantage of all the training opportunities which were encouraged, I was promoted to practice support manager. At the moment I am practice manager still at the same practice where my career began some 7 years ago. Currently, there are many exciting developments within our area and with the support network I receive from my manager I can look forward to a long, rewarding career within IDH”
